How We Clean Car Seats Safely

Compressed air first, blowing crumbs and debris out of the harness slots, buckle housing, and every fold. Then fabric-appropriate shampoo and extraction on covers and padding, hand detail on the frame and buckles, and thorough drying. Everything we use is non-toxic — it's the seat your child rides in every day, and we clean it accordingly.

What We Deliberately Don't Do

Harness straps are never soaked, submerged, or hit with harsh chemicals — manufacturers are explicit that this can degrade the webbing that does the life-saving work in a crash. Straps get surface cleaning per manufacturer guidance, nothing more aggressive. A detailer who promises to "deep clean" your straps is a red flag, not a bonus.
