Permanent Headlight Restoration - $350

This is the 2K clear coat method — essentially restoring the original factory coating. After we sand your headlights, we apply a 2K clear coat instead of a ceramic. It bonds permanently and lasts 5 years on average, often longer.

Important: 2K can leave a slight orange peel texture (the same micro-texture on factory-painted body panels). Most customers never notice it. If you want a literal mirror finish, the ceramic coating in our other packages gives you that glassier look. The 2K trades a tiny bit of optical smoothness for permanence — no yellowing, no redoing.

This package is for drivers who want worry-free crystal clear headlights for the lifetime of their vehicle and would rather pay once than schedule another restoration. The travel fee is waived completely.

Q: Do you offer any other services besides headlight restoration?

A: Yes — we're now a full mobile detailing operation. Headlight restoration is still the service that made our name, but we bring the complete menu to your driveway or office anywhere in Chicagoland:

Lighting packages — Our Visibility Package pairs headlight restoration with windshield ceramic coating for $240 flat; permanent 2K restoration is $350 flat.

Q: What's your restoration process?

A: Three stages, no shortcuts:

  1. Dry + wet sanding (400 → 600 → 800 → 1000 → 3000 grit). We work up through progressively finer sandpaper to remove the oxidized, yellowed top layer of the lens finishing with a 3000 grit, 3M Trizact sandpaper disc. Each grit smooths out the scratches from the one before it.
  2. Polish. We polish the lens to a high gloss and fill in residual scratches from the sanding process so every bit of light from your bulb actually makes it to the road.
  3. Ceramic coating. We professionally apply a ceramic coating.This final step restores your headlights brings your headlights back to the best possible clarity — for most lenses, that crystal clear look they had off the manufacturing line. And protects that fresh look anywhere from 9 months to 1.5 years long.

The whole process usually takes about an hour and makes your car look 10 years younger!

Q: How much does it cost?

A: Depends, for basic headlight restoration pricing depends on your car and its location at the time of restoration. The visibility package has a flat rate of $240 no matter your location and permanent headlight restoration is $350 flat as well (complementary windshield ceramic coating included too).

Q: Do you fix condensation inside of the headlight assembly and/or replace headlights?

Sadly no. That is more body shop and sealant shop territory however, please reach out to us if you are unsure of how to deal with anything car headlight related. We will help you as much as we can.
